The group-buy of august 2008 has been finished.
The following table reflects the status of the buyers list with the info available to me now:

14-07-2008. Almost all on the list swiftly confirmed their entry and I will be submitting orders soon. Longest lead time is on the crystals, so the QT crystals will be ordered first: tommorow. Later during the week after some more final checks have been done on the PCB's I will order the PCB panels. Shipping price has been determined based on parcels less than 2Kg.

15-07-2008. The QT crystals have been ordered. The crystals are expected to be ready about 5 weeks from now. The list is now closed for the QT crystals!

27-07-2008. I have had a problem with my PC. A regulator or MOSFET almost burned a hole in the motherboard... Luckily no data loss. I could recover my harddisks without problems! Much progress is made getting the new hardware up to speed and all the software reinstalled.

29-07-2008. The order for the metal boxes has been submitted. The price for the frontend eurocard sized box is set at 10€, that includes the punched connector holes. The list is now also closed for the metal boxes! The lead-time is 2-3 weeks.

07-08-2008. The metal boxes are expected to be finished end of week 33 (15-08-2008).

07-08-2008. The PCB's have been ordered at 31-07-2008 and are in production now. Expected to be ready at the beginning of week 35 (25-08-2008).

07-08-2008. The QT crystals are in production and on schedule. Expected to be ready at the end of week 34 (22-08-2008).

17-08-2008. The metal work has arrived and looks good! See the picture below. Now that I know the weight of the metal boxes and have made an estimate of the weight of the PCB-sets based on the FR4 material I can determine the shipping costs fore each parcel. Please prepare to pay me, I will be sending out payment requests later this week!

22-08-2008. I have started sending out payment requests today. All people that requested to pay through a bank (IBAN/SWIFT) should have recieved a payment request by email. I also have sent a number of people paypal payment requests. I soon had to stop this when I recieved the first couple of payments. It turns out that although I have a premium paypal account since 2005 I have severe limitations, which were not a problem with occasional e-bay purchases. My account is currently limited at recieving $3300 and that will soon be reached! To get rid of these limitations my account needs to go through a verifiacation process that will take minimum 2 - 3 working days. So I can continue with paypal probably on wednesday next week.

25-08-2008. PayPal has lifted the limitations on my account and I have send out the remaining requests for payment.

27-08-2008. Today 40Kg of PCB's arrived! Visual inspection is 100% OK and the PCB's match with the tin boxes. Holes are at the right locations! Also a partial delivery of 720gr. of the QT crystals has arrived. That is about 2/3 of the quantity needed. The rest of the crystals are expected in 2 weeks. I will ship to people in the order of recieved payments.

01-09-2008. I have shipped 28 parcels with destinations within the European Community today.

02-09-2008. I have shipped 13 parcels with destinations outside the European Community today. The remaining QT crystals are expected to be finished mid next week.

08-09-2008. Thanks for the feedback by some who recieved the parcel! I checked the tracking codes and most within the EU recieved their parcel except for a few that were not at home at the time of the 1st delivery. Shipping to USA seems to take a bit longer.

19-09-2008. I have finally received the remaining QT crystals, about one week later than planned. I will ship the remaining parcels during the course of next week.

06-10-2008. I have shipped the final 3 parcels today. The 2 remaining entries on the list I have lost contact with completely, so I will try to allocate the ordered parts to others.

25-09-2008. I have shipped 9 parcels today.

12-10-2008. The group-buy is completely closed now. I am sold out and remaining parcels have been allocated to names on my reserve list. Shipment of those 2 will be done tomorrow. I want to thank everyone for the good cooperation!
